Director of Family Based Mental Health Services
Momentum Services, LLC is a family run and family oriented mental health agency that promotes wellness within the the individual and the family. Treatment is strengths-based, individualized and recovery-oriented. This position provides oversight of our family based program and the administration of the family based principles to the families we serve.
We are seeking a self-motivated candidate with interests in growing and expanding our program as well as having a passion to helping others succeed. Candidates must be organized, excellent at paperwork and ensuring deadlines are met.

Summary of the position includes:
  • Oversight of all open cases and family based teams
  • Providing weekly staff supervision
  • Monitoring adherence to state and managed care regulations in all aspects of the program
  • Processing of referrals and conducting initial sessions with families
  • Participating in state and managed care audits
  • Providing direct care when deemed necessary by regulation
  • Attending state required trainings
  • Report directly to the Executive Director

Qualifications and Skills
The applicant for this position must have a Master's Degree in a human services field; prior family based experience is a plus. One year supervisory experience is required. The candidate must be knowledgable regarding family therapy and family dynamics. The candidate for this position must be self-motivated, independent, proactive, organized and efficient. Basic computer skills are necessary.

Family Based Mental Health Professional: 
A FBMHS Professional must have a Master’s degree in a human service field and two years of work experience with children and/or families. The FBMHS worker and FBMHS Professional work as a team to provide therapy to a children/youth and their families.  These two therapists work with the family to stabilize the child(ren) by increasing the quality of relationships and functioning within the family system and community.  As a team, the therapists provide:  a comprehensive 30 day initial assessment, family therapy, child individual therapy, sibling therapy, parenting sessions/support, case management & assistance/advocacy within the community.  These services are provided in the home, school and community.  Each FBMHS therapist takes part in an on-call rotation.  The on-call therapist provides crisis support for all the families in our FBMHS program as needed for a week at a time.  Specialized training is provided & required.  Training participants after meeting certain requirements can become certified by taking a state exam.  FBMHS workers and professionals be willing to work a flex schedule.  Positions are full time salaried with benefits.  FBI, Childline and Criminal background checks are required.


Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC):
• Provides observation/assessment, treatment planning, and direction/supervision to the treatment team
• Ensures coordination of care
• Creates the treatment plan and is the Leading Clinician for assigned cases
• Supervises TSS is all aspects of their responsibilities
• Qualifications:  licensed doctoral level psychologist, licensed clinical psychologist, or master’s level clinician in a mental health field with documented experience in the use of behavior modification techniques; Child Abuse, Police, and FBI clearances

Mobile Therapist (MT):
• Provides direct therapy to children in their home and community settings
• Provides observation/assessment, treatment planning, and direction/supervision of the treatment team
• Ensures coordination of care
• Creates the treatment plan and is the Leading Clinician for assigned cases
• Supervises TSS in all aspects of their responsibilities
• Qualifications:  licensed mental health professional or master’s level clinician in a mental health field with, at least, 1 year experience in the CASSP system; Child Abuse, Police, and FBI clearances.


Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS):
• Provide 1 on 1 therapeutic support to a child/adolescent in specified social, behavioral, or emotional areas of concern
• Utilize the interventions documented in the treatment plan directly to the child/adolescent
• Receive weekly supervision from the BSC/MT who is the Leading Clinician for the assigned case
• Qualifications:  bachelor’s degree in a mental health field, bachelor’s degree in a non-mental health field with 1 year experience working with children, or an associate’s degree/60 credits towards a bachelor’s degree with 3 years experience working with children; licensed registered nurse with 1 year experience working with children; licensed practical nurse with 3 years experience working with children; Child Abuse, Police, and FBI clearances.


Outpatient Therapist:
This position provides outpatient therapy to individuals, couples and families. Prior outpatient experience is preferred, but is not necessary. Position is full time salaried with benefits.  FBI, Childline and Criminal background checks are required.
